Club News

Hello All,

    Received our winnings from the AMA member drive today. Just thought I would share them with
everyone. The check is for $100 and will be going to Steve to go into the club account. I will make
a temporary mount of some type, or even a stick in the ground pole to display our flag when we are
at the field or when we want to. If we ever get a permanent field, we will display our plaque somehow.
For now, I am going to see if Dave can put the pic on our homepage.

     Also, I have completed our yearly AMA paperwork for the club, rosters, etc. That is $90. Will get that
to Steve to send off soon.

Also, I will be filing our 2009 IRS Form 990-N for our Tax Exemption status again.

    Everyone get those planes ready. The weather is getting nice, and we had a great time this past
Saturday at the field. Hope to start seeing a few more out there soon.

    Dave and I will planning a Club Fun-Fly soon before it gets too hot. We hope to cook out, and supply
drinks and invite the public. It will take a little help from the club, and I hope we will have some
volunteers. We have a good list of activities to do, but feel free to make suggestions. We will need
to put up safety boundaries, bring a grill, coolers, etc.    Will keep you informed when it gets closer
and take a poll on the date for max participation.

BZ to Kurt Kissinger on his progress. I have been working with him quite a bit on his approaches and
Landings. He set it down a couple of times by himself last Saturday.
